Hear “Risk” the first single from Powers Pleasant
Powers Pleasant will team up with Scion AV for his debut solo release, the Scion AV Presents: The Powers Pleasant Experience EP, to be released for free streaming and download on June 9, 2015. A producer and DJ, Powers is one of the three artists responsible for founding the Pro Era Crew. Since starting the squad with Joey Bada$$ and the dearly departed Capital Steez, Pro Era has become a youth movement in the Brooklyn, expanding to encompass more than dozen members and gaining influence on both a national and global level.
In anticipation of Scion AV: The Powers Pleasant Experience, check out “Risk,” the first single from this release. “Risk” is a downtempo track, ridden expertly by vocalist Alex Phoenix and bolstered by electric guitar leads. Kick back and get your summertime vibes going with this one if you haven’t started already.

Last year we released Scion AV Presents: The Shift, a free EP from the Pro Era Crew. “Butterflies,” the nearly 11-minute posse cut that closed out the collection was produced by Powers Pleasant and featured verses from Dirty Sanchez, Dessy Hinds, Nyck Caution, A La $ole, Kirk Knight, Dyemond Lewis, Jakk the Rhymer and Joey Bada$$.
