Producer and DJ Powers Pleasant, a founder of New York’s Pro Era, breaks out “1Day,” another cut from the Scion AV Presents: The Powers Pleasant Experience EP. Set to be released for free streaming and download on June 9, 2015, this is Powers’ debut as a solo artist. Last week we gave you “Risk,” which features vocalist Alex Phoenix, but “1Day” is a purely instrumental showcase of his skills. It features a futuristic feel, bolstered by swirling vibes and a soulful keyboard melody that Powers put together.
Scion AV Presents: The Powers Pleasant Experience is Scion AV’s second release with Pro Era, following last year’s free posse EP, Scion AV Presents: The Shift. Check out a video for “Hail Razor”—featuring A La $ole, Dessy Hinds and CJ Fly—from the project that we put together.
