Welcome back to another episode of the Scion AV All Purpose Show with your host Prince Paul, who’s joined by his son and collaborator, DJ P.Forreal. This time out we’ve got visits from the Black Angels, filmmaker John Waters and photographer Greg Bojorquez. Our man on the street, Lloydski, makes a stop at the Agenda Trade Show in Las Vegas, while Stevie Lee checks out the “Carrots: Pick, Pack & Shipped” show from Anwar Carrots at Scion AV Installation.
Starting the program off are two members of the Black Angels, who tell Paul about Austin, Texas’ storied history with his psychedelic rock music. The band also contributed a song to Riley Hawk: Northwest Blow Out, the EP that pro skater Riley Hawk recently put together for Scion AV.
There’s also a preview of the extensive interview that Prince Paul conducted with legendary independent filmmaker John Waters in Marfa, Texas. In the included clip, Waters explains where his whole style of dressing came from.
Photographer Greg Bojorquez makes a high octane visit to the set of the Scion AV All Purpose Show. He explains how he distinguishes between professional photographers and hobbyists, as well as how he got into photography.
Lloydski made his way to Las Vegas to find out why the Agenda Trade Show keeps drawing streetwear brands back year after year. He also finds out what other brands the participants are checking for.
Finally, Stevie Lee visits Scion AV Installation in Los Angeles to talk to Anwar Carrots about “Carrot Field: Pick, Pack & Shipped,” his retail experience currently up at the space. Carrots give him the lowdown on the show’s concept.
