Scion AV Presents: Skate Life EP is the new release from Black Dave and Scion AV, now available for free download and streaming. Black Dave is a rapper, pro skater with Zoo York, member of the Stoned Rollers crew, video director and budding culture media icon with over two million collective views on YouTube. These five new tracks are a reflection of what a week of his life in New York City is like—pretty smooth, but things can get hectic.
Black Dave has been gaining his fans through prior mixtapes Stay Black and Black Bart. This time out, Black Dave gets production from his longtime collaborator Shy Guy, as well as veteran beatmaking team Sean C & LV. Leading up to Scion AV Presents: Skate Life, Dave revealed the tracks “Respect the Intellect” and “Be Quiet,” which XXL called “a New York spin on trap music.”
A music video from Black Dave and Scion AV is on its way, and he recently made a second visit to the Scion AV All Purpose Show with host Prince Paul.
