This year’s SEMA 2014 show in Las Vegas is the destination for the Scion Man on the Street feature with Sal Barbier and Lloydski. The pair hit the Scion booth to check out everything on offer and talk with some of the folks hanging out.
Two of top draws were the Scion x Slayer Mobile Amp tC and Scion x Riley Hawk Skate Tour xB. In fact, Tom Araya and Kerry King of Slayer stopped by to check out the scene, and King even plugged in and ripped some major riffs on the Marshall amp that’s built into the Mobile Amp tC. Then Barbier talked to Scott Kanemura of KMA Productions about how they achieved the Skate Tour xB’s classic, shagged-out look.
This year’s SEMA show also marked the 10th anniversary of the Scion Tuner Challenge. Barbier spoke to the folks who got the top three spots with their takes on the Scion FR-S, including first place winner Keith Charvonia, who built it out in his own home two-car garage.
Check out Sal Barbier at Irwindale Speedway where he interviews Ken Gushi and Fredric Aasbo before the final showdown at Formula Drift.
