Pell Starts Your Weekend Off Easy With “Friday”
We know it’s only Thursday, but Pell has got your jam for the weekend covered. Check out his new song “Friday,” which is featured on the upcoming Scion AV Presents: Baker Skateboards EP. The full project, put together by the folks at Baker, will be released next week, but this is another preview of what’s in-store. We’ve already released hard rockers from Earthless and Zig Zags, but “Friday” is a much more mellow ride. Combining his talents as a rapper and singer, Pell incorporates elements of jazz and downtempo electronic music to bolster his airy sound. The young artist was born in New Orleans and currently lives in Mississippi, but he easily combines elements of hip-hop from around the country and from multiple eras. The result is timeless.
Along with songs by Pell, Earthless, and Zig Zags, Scion AV Presents: The Baker Skateboards EP will also include new music from Denmark Vessey and and the Goat and the Occasional Others. And to learn more about Baker, be sure to watch the company’s boss Andrew Reynolds’ interview with host Prince Paul on the Scion AV All Purpose Show. Also, check out this video about the trip Baker took with a Scion iA and a Scion iM through California.
