Top 4 Scion AV Tracks

Scion AV has once again had a busy year putting out new music from some of our favorite new acts, as well as some choice cuts from beloved veterans. Here are the Top 4 Scion AV Tracks from 2015, in no particular order.

Keith Ape, “Camo”

South Korean rapper Keith Ape connected with Scion AV through Shellfish or Better, the banger-filled EP put together by restaurateur, author, and personality Eddie Huang. Check Ape’s verbal spray and expect to hear much more from him in the near future.

Powers Pleasant, “Risk”

Pro Era’s DJ and co-founder Powers Pleasant slid in with the smooth downtempo bumper “Risk” off his Scion AV Presents: The Powers Pleasant Experience EP. Pleasant shined with this cut featuring Alex Phoenix on vocals and him augmenting the sound with live instruments.

Black Dave, “Respect the Intellect”

Skater and rapper Black Dave gave you “Respect the Intellect,” a laidback burner from this street savy New Yorker. The song is featured on his showcase, the Scion AV Presents: Black Dave — Skatelife EP.

Hot Lunch, “China Banks”

Keeping the skate cuts grinding, the Bay Area’s Hot Lunch took a 1970s boogie rock approach with their song “China Banks.” Named for a legendary old school spot in San Francisco, Hot Lunch pay tribute to the sport’s history on this cut from the Scion AV Presents: Hot Lunch EP.
